  Banks in this day and age can be hard to deal with. It seems like almost every policy is handed down from corporate, and every decision is made by a computer. The company's interests come before the customer's, fees and denial of credit are the norm, and as a result the entire community suffers. No bank epitomizes this more than Bank Newport. They would rather watch your business close than lend you a penny, and would rather close your account than return a single fee. If you don't keep a balance of over $10k, expect to be treated with disdain.
